are you going?? Because I was tempted to go before, but then I changed my mind and now who knows.

Blogger Kim said...

If you and Stacy go, I'll HAVE to go.

I don't think my blog is changing the world...so they probably would not want me to attend.

They had originally sponsored a BlogHim conference. But it generated into just watching baseball and scratching.

We're just bears in pants after all.

I can't go, we're on a budget freeze, but maybe next year?

Blogger JordanBaker said...

I'm afraid if I went, I'd just make an ass of myself bugging Heather Armstrong for an autograph.

Blogger kris said...

I'm seriously considering it! (The trip, not the autograph. ;)

In other news, why would the freaking love theme from Tootsie make me miss him?

EFFERS.

I'll share a room with you! I can dress up like a woman, and it can be our secret.

And anyone that reads this...

More crickets

Oh. That is v. tempting.

Blogger kris said...

Yay, PID!

Jorge - it's all CRICKETS, baby . . .

And now the SEARCH IS OVER is on. What the HADES? Which one of you called in and requested UNLIMITED HOURS OF SAPPY LOVE MUSIC TO HAUNT ME?

Blogger kris said...

I kid you not, only moments later they are now playing Same Auld Lang Syne by Dan Fogelberg.

I'll be at St. Elizabeth's if anyone's looking for me.

Blogger Sizzle said...

i would go but a)it's expensive and b) it's about 30 minutes from where i live which makes it kind of not that exciting, travel-wise.

i will, however, join any blogging ladies for a cocktail who are in the area for the conference. ;)

Blogger missbhavens said...

Why not just set up a wet-bar in your living room and we'll all just show up at your place, instead?

Blogger playfulinnc said...

Open bar is my middle name, ladies. It's ON.

Then you're gonna come down to LA for the real partying, right?! Well, at least I'll ask someone who might know of one...

I once asked the chick from opinionista to sign my ass with a Sharpie. I didn't get the autograph, but her signature is on a copy of the restraining order.

Blogger C said...

Sounds like a good time, but 4 children and no $ makes it not such an option for me. Bummer. I'll have a vat of wine in your honour that night. :)

Anonymous Anonymous said...

I'm coming to DC, does that apply, too?

Sizz -- I think we should set up cocktails for the cool lady bloggers in the 'hood.

Blogger Kristen said...

I'm going. It's in my 2006 plan for world domination.

Blogger Scarlet Hip said...

That actually sounds really cool. Hmmmmm......

I found you by way of Paisley Propaganda I've linked you up. (I LOVE your profile picture!)

The last week of July is a bad time for me to take off work...but I live about an hour from the conference. I could probably come for the second day of the conference and the very least I would LOVE to come and meet you for a drink!

Blogger Megan said...

*raises hand* Me, me! I've never been to one of these things before...

Share a room?

Oh hells yeah!

*ahem*!
I said, YES I'd LOVE to share a room!
