Observance
I like to think that while our forefathers were fighting for independence and alternatives to Earl Grey as a national beverage that they envisioned me Murphy’s oiling the hardwoods, returning videos to Blockbuster, and watching the View in honor of their very special date. Happy Presidents’ Day.

It's a little known fact that the Presidential oath of office includes a pledge to improve the decor of every American's home.

Well I worked BOTH jobs today. Mostly it was nice that both of them were mostly lax because of the holiday. Tomorrow I'll pay for it which kinda pisses me off in a way! Not to rain on your parade or anything...just saying.

Some Interesting Facts about Our Founding Fathers:

-George Washington was almost arrested when he didn't attend church After he was made President.

-Thomas Jefferson had his own Bible printed in which he omitted any passage or section he didn't believe in.

Happy Presidents' Day- my we ALL be like them!

Here in Ontario, Canada we actually celebrated Family Day! I really don't want to talk about it.
Like it wasn't enough that February had one holiday to make me feel miserable about my life. Now we have 2!

I had to work on Presidents Day, but I have a short week this week. I fully anticipate not thinking of any dead presidents in the next several days. At least you did something productive.

I spent it sleep weary from a loud snory roomate in Tampa and being told that on my vacation..."I dissapointed my guest children (after spending 48 hours with children, more than my previous 40 combined years, with children) by not playing Nintendo Wie with them (sp? who gives a shit. I grew up with PONG and a sense of the outdoors). I am quite sure that is what G DUB envisioned. *My apologies to our founding father* I blame him for inventing Tapma in the first place. I hope St. Patty's days is as much fun!!!!!! BARF (wait that will be more fun).
