adult content rawks
My sweet, sweet girl has nominated me for two blogging awards.

My popularity overwhelms me. This is just like that time I ran for Miss Hygiene New Jersey.

Well deserved, Kris! But "Miss Hygiene New Jersey"? Really?

LMAO, maybe I should have voted for you and not Mr. Fab. Hmm, I may have to rethink my stance.

And this is why you were nominated! HA HA HA!

well we can't vote unless you tell us! ;)

It's all the erotic literature you right.

NICE GOING, PORNSTAR!

Congratulations! I always like reading what you write, even when it's G-rated. Good luck!

Good luck! I'm crossing my fingers you win and will be featured in the next NY Times article on blogging.

As it should be, my dear. As it should be.

Better still "Adult Content"

You're, like, R rated! Naughty!

Well, good for you. I think. For being nominated that is. Isn't that all anybody ever wants? Just to be nominated?

But, ummm, here's the thing: I was looking around that awards place last night, and I couldn't figure out if it was actually a good thing. There were some crazy blogs, and entered in every category: worst blog, best blog, funniest blog, hottest blogger (hey, why aren't you in the hottest blogger category?) Can one blog really be all things to all people?

Still, good luck, Miss Hygiene!

Is the voting over? I tried to make an account to vote because I love your blog but it kept saying my birthday was invalid. Pssh! I think I know when I was born!

Miss Hygiene NJ. glol!!!!!

Not to be a naysayer – but hasn’t this whole Sanjaya thing (and maybe William Hung thing too) basically showed that voting by the general public is not the best means to identify quality or the “best”? But good luck anyway and if there is any justice in the process, you will surely win something.

I would go and vote RIGHT NOW, but I'm slightly afraid of the faceless man.

Blogger Webmiztris said...

ouch! good luck with that. I don't exactly 'get' blog awards. with the way they have it set up where you have to go to multiple pages to view all of the contenders in each category? yeah, it's kinda not fair if you ask me!

This is where I leave a VERY cryptic comment like "The eagle has landed - go to www.nomermaids.blogspot.com"

I leave cryptic comments like that because I'm a dork.

I voted for you when you ran for Miss Hygiene NJ. You wiped up the competition.

Get it? Wiped up?

Shut up.

Blogger Brillig said...

Haha. The "just as it should be" remark was about the nominations, not the lack of votes! I just had to clarify that before anyone thought I was the ultimate beyotch!
