That's a pretty punk rock hair cut. He looks so bored with it all...

Where's the cone? The mocking will be minimal without the cone.

He sort of looks like he has some artwork shaved into his body. And that art is a rendering of someone mooning you.

Hee hee.

Poor kitty. Hopefully he got some good drugs.

Blogger Melissavina said...

Oh and he looks exactly like my childhood cat named (of all things) Kitty. He was such a great cat.

Good news! Scars are always more interesting than tattoos

Now you give that cat lots of love this weekend! No hoarding the love! [Stern glare.]

He looks tough with the scar.
You should get him a spiked collar.
Badass Bug.

Big hugs for kitty.

I know that look all too well.

Smoochies and Fishies to Bug.

Blogger Amaya said...

No amputation then?

Blogger Jessica said...

Glad he made it through ok. Hope he gets lots of kitty treats and loving this weekend. How you doing after all this stress?

Blogger Jorge said...

My kitties are jealous.

They have no real war stories.

Blogger Janet said...

oh, my. your cat is a serious badass. hope all is well and you are not flat broke.

That picture made my heart skip a beat! I'm glad he's okay and I hope you're feeling better. He looks like a sincerely tough kitteh.

Blogger Mary said...

He looks like our cat, exactly! (Except for the scar). Hazel is a total badass, confined to the indoors and permanently indignant about it. Hope the kitty is better soon. I know you probably wrote about it and I missed it, so I'll read back through the blog to find out what happened to him!

Chics dig scars. I love that he's giving you his best "Clint Eastwood" stare already!

Blogger Amber said...

Awwwwww... poor baby :(:(

I'm sure he'll be up and running around again pretty soon.

How's the mommy hanging in there, though?

Blogger Maya said...

He looks pissed. And relieved. You must feel a whold light lighter in soul (and wallet!). Happy he's home!

Do you know what the mass was? (Hi, I'm a new reader...) Poor kitty...

Poor kitty!

My cat had a scar like that on his belly. It happened about a year ago. You can't really even tell now.

Blogger Wicked H said...

So glad he is back home. I send speedy recovery wishes to you both. Our furry kids can scare us good sometimes.

Hope whatever it was is all done now.

Hugs!

Blogger KB said...

Ohhhh!!! poor bug! :(

I'm so sorry, hun. I hope everything turned out fine, though.

Blogger ETK said...

Poor thing (both of you actually)! Did you find out what caused the mass and if it was benign? Hoping he's enjoying a relaxing weekend of you serving him lots of kitty treats.. :)

Blogger WanderingGirl said...

I think he should make up a story about wrestling a wolf or something. Just remember, the more bizarre it is, the more likely people are to believe it!

Blogger tgov said...

golf ball mass? god, that makes me feel faint.
glad they dealt with it, and that he's home.
(and, did you adopt Bug from the SPCA in Portland, Oregon? cause he looks like my Rorchach's missing twin brother...)

good thing we humans aren't so breed identifiable... er..right?

as for you, the stress must have been rough - take a 'lude and blog us in the morning!

Blogger Unknown said...

Oh honey, I hope he's OK.
XOXO

Blogger snoopy said...

Awww poor little guy. I hope he's doing better. But now he has a cool scar to impress the girls with.

His situation made me go and check all of my pets for any odd bodily protrusions. Needless to say they weren't happy.

Blogger JordanBaker said...

Oy, I hope he's ok and not chewing himself, etc. . .

But honestly, it might be kinder just to shave the rest of him and call it a summer cut.

Blogger themikestand said...

Welcome home!

(Also, wasn't this a Weekly Challenge topic?)

Blogger Notta Wallflower said...

Well, he looks okay. I don't know if you were joking about the possible amputation, but you can be grateful that didn't happen. Honestly, pets get the weirdest things.
