He looks like our cat, exactly! (Except for the scar). Hazel is a total badass, confined to the indoors and permanently indignant about it. Hope the kitty is better soon. I know you probably wrote about it and I missed it, so I'll read back through the blog to find out what happened to him!

My cat had a scar like that on his belly. It happened about a year ago. You can't really even tell now.
So glad he is back home. I send speedy recovery wishes to you both. Our furry kids can scare us good sometimes.

I think he should make up a story about wrestling a wolf or something. Just remember, the more bizarre it is, the more likely people are to believe it!

Awww poor little guy. I hope he's doing better. But now he has a cool scar to impress the girls with.
His situation made me go and check all of my pets for any odd bodily protrusions. Needless to say they weren't happy.
Oy, I hope he's ok and not chewing himself, etc. . .
But honestly, it might be kinder just to shave the rest of him and call it a summer cut.

Well, he looks okay. I don't know if you were joking about the possible amputation, but you can be grateful that didn't happen. Honestly, pets get the weirdest things.
